Canadian Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute
The Canadian Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (CPCI) is the Body of Knowledge (BOK) for precast concrete in Canada, and in partnership with PCI and NPCA in the US, we represent the BOK for precast concrete in North America. CPCI membership develops, maintains, and disseminates the Body of Knowledge (BOK) necessary for designing, fabricating, and constructing precast concrete structures. The BOK refers to the collective knowledge of an industry that is relied upon to design and build with a specific material or system. It is from this BOK that building codes, design guides, education programs, certification, and more are derived.

The Canadian Precast Concrete Quality Assurance (CPCQA) Certification Program
The Canadian Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (CPCI) and the Canadian Concrete Pipe and Precast Association (CCPPA) only endorse the (CPCQA) Certification Program which certifies over 80 per cent of the precast concrete production in Canada. All provincial transportation and infrastructure departments recognize the program with many of these departments having a seat on the CPCQA Quality Assurance Council. The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) recognizes the CPCQA program as the most stringent precast concrete certification program in North America. It is the only certification program in Canada that has an official Quality Concern Reporting Form and Quality Conflict Resolution Mechanism Program.
